About Matthieu Ricard
Matthieu Ricard is a French Buddhist monk, author, and photographer.
He has written several books on Buddhism and the pursuit of happiness, most notably his book Happiness: A Guide to Developing Life’s Most Important Skill.
Ricard is also a biologist, having earned a Ph.D.
in molecular genetics from the Pasteur Institute in Paris.
